Power Supply Requirements

I am trying to interface an ATMEGA processor onto INT070ATFT-TS panels for a new product I am developing.
I have purchased a sample from RS but am confused as to what external power supplies are required as there already appear to be a number of DC-DC supplies already on the panel interface board.
Do I have to supply VDDIO, VDDD, VDDLCD and the backlight or are they produced on the board?
I noticed that a previous forum thread implied that a single 5V supply is all that is required (on pin 38), although this is shown as NC on the datasheet.
Could you please supply details of the required power supplies as I donäó»t want to destroy the panel by attaching the wrong voltages!

pin 38 is the power suply for the backlight, it needs 5 volts.

I have managed to get V2.2 datasheet which is a bit clearer. It looks like the 9V backlight is now generated from the 5V supply. What is not obvious is whether the 1.2V supply has to be supplied externally or is generated on the panel itself. I was going to connect up the 3.3V supply and see whether 1.2V was output on VDDD pin.

You need supply the 1,2 and 3,3 regulated volts to the LCD. The LCD only generates the voltaje for the backlight from the 5V supply.

Many thanks for the information. Panel is now up and running once I managed to get the H_Period and V_Period set to suitable values.

A note: you not need to set the H & V period, the auto-initialization feature set its for you...

Strange...
Before I set these parameters, I could define a write region on the display from a start column to an end column but it filled all rows (page no) in the set column (just ended up with vertical bars on the display. I could only get the definition of start and end rows rows after I had set these.

Also found this application note for the touch controller chip which may help other users. Gave info on 7 bit command interface (plus register set bit) and start-up values.
