Issues with new batch of displays

I've been using the 64128K-RGB displays for many years now. The most recent batch has been showing some issues. Some displays seem smeared, for lack of a better word. Sometimes, this comes and goes, sometimes it's constant. I have anywhere from 4 to 6 of these displays on the circuit board and they share power supplies and all data lines except the /CS line. Each one gets the same initialization commands. I checked the voltage on all capacitors and the voltages are very close between the bad and good displays - within a few hundredths of a volt.

On the boards that have problems on them, I get 1 or 2 bad displays and the others are fine. Did I just get a batch with an unusually large number of bad displays, or is there some other issue it could be?

Picture attached demonstrating the problem. The one on the left should show [ 1 ], similar size and format as the display next to it.

Hello and thank you for your inquiry! If you take a bad display and move it to a new board does the issue follow the display?

I'm not able to remove the displays without damaging them to the point where they're unusable. I'm working on removing them and putting new ones on.

Are there any guidelines for this display regarding humidity? I'm wondering if it's related, because the problem seems to fade over time when the display is on, but can also come back after it's been off for a while. I looked at the data sheet, but there are no specific guidelines.
