Displaytech's in-house COG facility provides up to the minute solutions for small area, high resolution graphic display products.  By attaching the driver chip directly to the glass, it is possible to connect many more common and segment lines to the LCD than with conventional heat seal or zebra technology. In addition, a more compact design can be realised, resulting in weight and space savings.

Displaytech's in-house COG facility provides up to the minute solutions for small area, high resolution graphic display products.

As with all Displaytech LCD module solutions, the COG can be supplied with backlight options and additional circuitry to provide a fully customised assembly if required.  Custom dimensions, resolutions and formats can be achieved with leadtimes to samples of 4-6 weeks depending on complexity.COG can also often provide a solution for other font styles, so segment and icon based displays can be produced in addition to the more common graphics.

As with all Displaytech LCD module solutions, the COG can be supplied with backlight options and additional circuitry to provide a fully customised assembly if required.
